Respected Seniors and Colleagues,

I write to you with deep respect and a heartfelt appeal to join hands in a project very close to my heart—an effort to preserve and celebrate the glorious legacy of Air Traffic Control in India. Through this initiative, we wish to create a living chronicle of every Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) who has served our nation with dedication since Independence.

This compilation will not only record professional milestones but also highlight the human stories behind them—the journeys, achievements, challenges, and triumphs that define our fraternity. It will include:

Place of birth and present residence
Educational qualifications and professional training
Date of joining and retirement
Career postings and contributions
Awards, recognitions, and foreign visits
Occupation after retirement (if any)
Hobbies, memoirs, and personal anecdotes
Books, papers, or articles authored
Incidents, experiences, or stories that left a mark

This is more than just data—it is a collective memory, a treasure trove of wisdom, and a tribute to the men and women who laid the foundations and carried forward the mantle of Air Traffic Control in India. It will inspire the younger generation, instil pride in our profession, and ensure that the service of ATCOs is remembered with the honor it truly deserves.

As the project grows, we may also conduct live interviews, online video sessions, and recorded messages to enrich this archive with your voices and experiences.

All fields are optional—you may share only what you are comfortable with. If agreeable, I also propose forming a dedicated WhatsApp group exclusively for retired ATCOs to share project-related updates and contributions.
